Advice is only worth trusting if you know who pays for it.

Most study-abroad advice in India is funded by commissions you never see — counselors paid per enrolment, "free" guidance that steers you toward whoever pays best. We earn money too. The difference is that this page exists: here is every way money flows through this site, and the rules that keep it from bending what we tell you. (Study Abroad Guide is operated by ZingyBear Technologies LLP — every partnership below is contracted by that entity.)

Where our money comes from

01Referral partnerships

If you open a loan, blocked account, forex account, or book housing through a partner link, the partner pays us a referral fee. You pay the same — often less, when partners offer fee waivers through us.

Being set up

02University partnerships

Some universities pay a commission when a student they admit applies through a partner channel. Partner universities are always labeled, and partnership never changes where a university appears in any list or recommendation.

The firewall

Four rules, in force before the first rupee of partner revenue:

Money never reorders results: Shortlists, comparisons, and calculators use one methodology for everyone. A partner and a non-partner are ranked by the same math.
Every commercial link is labeled: Partner links say "Partner link" next to them and carry a sponsored tag that search engines can read. If it isn't labeled, nobody paid for it.
Non-partners are never hidden: Our loan comparison lists lenders we earn nothing from, on equal footing. A tool that only shows who pays is an advertisement, not a tool.
Numbers are dated and verifiable: Every figure shows when it was last verified. If we get something wrong, we correct it and say so.

What we never do

Sell ranking positions — no university, lender, or service can pay to appear higher.
Accept payment for positive reviews or 'best of' placements.
Share your email or data with partners without your explicit action.
Hide a fee, commission, or sponsorship behind unlabeled links.
